How can we help?
Pick the problem you are seeing and follow the steps. CodeSmash Lab runs on iPhone with iOS 16.4 or later. The app itself is in Thai.
Find your problem
- A health figure shows "—"
- A walk did not pass the check
- Notifications do not arrive
- Games do not load
- The Apple Watch app
Step-by-step fixes
A health figure shows "—"
"—" means the app has nothing to show in that tile yet. Permission may not have been given, or Health may have no data of that kind.
- Open the Health app, tap your profile picture, then look for the section about apps. Choose CodeSmash Lab and turn on the data you want the app to read.
- Check in the Health app that there really is data of that kind for that day.
- Sleep, heart rate and HRV mostly come from Apple Watch. If you do not wear a watch, these tiles may stay empty.
- Switch away from CodeSmash Lab and come back.
A walk did not pass the check
The app checks every walk to make sure it is a real walk. A walk that does not pass is not counted towards your missions, and the summary screen after the walk shows which check failed.
- Walk for at least 3 minutes and 200 steps. Time spent paused does not count.
- Walk outdoors where you can see the sky. Indoors, under a roof or between tall buildings, your location can drop out or jump around.
- In the Settings app, under CodeSmash Lab, set Location to "While Using the App" and turn on Precise Location.
- In the same place, turn on Motion & Fitness.
- Keep your iPhone with you the whole way, because steps are counted by the iPhone.
- Walk on foot. Running fast, cycling or riding in a vehicle is faster than normal walking and will not pass.
Notifications do not arrive
- In Settings › Notifications › CodeSmash Lab, turn on Allow Notifications.
- In CodeSmash Lab, go to the Profile tab › การแจ้งเตือน (Notifications) and turn on the topics you want.
- If you use a Focus, add CodeSmash Lab to that Focus's allowed apps.
Games do not load
Games are web pages and the game list loads from the internet, so you need a connection to play.
- Check your Wi-Fi or mobile data, and in Settings › Mobile Data (Cellular) make sure CodeSmash Lab is allowed to use it.
- If the Games tab has no games listed, connect, leave the app, then come back. If they still do not appear, try again later.
- If one game will not load, close it and open it again. If that does not help, email us the game's name using the address below.
The Apple Watch app
- You need an Apple Watch with watchOS 10 or later, paired with the iPhone that has CodeSmash Lab installed.
- If the app is not on your watch, open the Watch app on your iPhone, find CodeSmash Lab and tap Install.
- If the watch shows "เปิดแอปบน iPhone แล้วลองอีกที" (open the app on iPhone and try again), open CodeSmash Lab on your iPhone, then tap "ลองอีกที" (try again) on the watch.
- The watch starts, pauses and ends walks. Counting and checking happen on the iPhone, so take your iPhone with you.
